• Frequently Asked Questions

    Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance at this time and are considered an out-of-network provider.

This provides us with more flexibility to provide treatment according to individual needs rather than what the insurance deems necessary - a business that probably doesn't know anything about you. Private pay also allows for shorter wait times (no waiting for authorizations), more time for direct hands-on therapy (less paperwork!) and more flexibility for treatment options, timing and location. Aiming to be mindful and client-centered is often difficult when working with insurance.

How do I pay for occupational therapy services?

We recognize that private pay can be a big financial investment for most families. We are here to answer any questions you have along the way.

    • Superbills: We provide monthly superbills for those persuing possible insurance reimbursement. We strongly advise families to contact their insurance provider BEFORE starting services to learn about their out-of-network policies.
    • Flexible/health savings accounts (FSA/HSA): services are typically covered with both FSA and HSA accounts. Families have chosen to use these accounts to pay for therapy services
    • Care Credit: coming soon
    • Grants: Families can look into possible grants to assist in paying for therapy services. Here is a good place to start: How to Access Grants for Therapy and Rehabilitation Services - Grants for Disabled
